Rules of the 'Dorks

THE 6 RULES

• 1. We would like our members to be as ACTIVE as possible. A club will die unless there is interest and activity -- so please come to our chats, interact in our forum, and submit to our gallery and contests as regularly as you can! We look forward to your participation!
• 2. Follow the Golden Rule, net etiquette, and DA's FAQ and Rules.
• 3. Members will only be allowed one piece of art into the club gallery every month.
  • Members who have won a contest are allowed three pieces.
  • Brand new joining members may post an extra piece of art for one particular month up to six months after they have first joined.
  • Pokemon of the Month (POM) work, Mascot Quagsire entries, and Holiday-Themed Entries count as free submissions no matter what status a member is in. However, only 5 POM/Quagsires may be submitted to the gallery per month, and only 5 Holiday Pieces may be submitted per Holiday "length" (which is posted on our Shoutboard).
  • POM and Contest entries may not be entered in retrospect. I.e., if you missed the first contest, you may not submit a piece of artwork or literature that follows that contest's theme and expect the submission to be free.
  • However, a POM of the previous month may be submitted free for a 1 EXP prize. POMs from 2 months and back are not accepted.
  • Art that has already been submitted to a previous contest, for a POM, or as a regular gallery entry, may not be submitted to a later contest.
  • Members may only submit one piece per contest, but may switch their entry out with another piece if they change their minds later.
  • ART THEFT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. If you submit thieved art to us, we will warn you once. The second time, we will kick you out of the club, and we will never accept you back.
• 4. Art/writing must be PG-13 and lower. Our definition of PG-13 includes:
  • Blood/a bit of violence is okay.
  • Tasteful nudity is accepted. "Tasteful" nudity is defined as no definition of sexual organs and on females, no nipples (to see some good examples, click here and here).
  • Racy outfits are accepted on a case-by-case basis on the judgment of the admin, as this is a gray area.
  • Yaoi, yuri, trainer/pokemon shipping, inflation, incest, m-pregs, pedophilia, etc, (in short, anything that would make a fairly conservative-minded mother collapse from despair and horror) is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Remember: Pokemon attracts a huge kid audience, and this club does not want to take direct responsibility for linking them to dubious content.
• 5. Please devwatch us. That way we can keep you updated on contests and club news. :)
• 6. Tell your Pokefan friends about us! We crave the publicity. =P And please, do link to us in your journal. Signature links to our club would be cooler, but we don't expect you to ruin your perfect siggy for us ;)
